LEARNING KINGDOM PRINCIPLES
Kingdom principles are rules for living your life God's way. Following these principles may not stop bad things from happening, but you will know how to handle those things according to God's way (that is, through prayer and exercising faith in God), and that always leads to an amazing outcome!
Do unto others as you would have them do unto you, it is the Golden Rule, and the way to be!
This Video is all about living the Golden Rule from Luke 6:31, Jesus said, "And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise." Jesus goes on to specifically distinguish what this means: Loving only those who love you is common to all, even sinners can love that much. Also, it is the same when doing good to those who are good to you, anyone can do that; lending only to those that you know can pay you back, is something even sinners will do, to gain as much, in return.
"But love your enemies, and do good, and lend hoping for nothing again; and you reward shall be great and ye shall be the children of the highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil. Be ye therefore merciful, as your father is also merciful."
KINGDOM RULES ARE DIFFERENT God doesn't see this issue, as we do, [the Highest] "is kind to the unthankful, and the evil." So, if we emulate our heavenly father's character, as we should, then we will be merciful, not judging, even giving freely - remembering the Golden Rule - and remembering that all men are made in the image of God, so "Let brotherly love continue." Hebrews 13:1
LAUGHTER: GOOD MEDICINE
Laughter really is the best medicine! It's medicinal attributes have been proven, and backed by the medical community for many years now. Even the small act of smiling when you're feeling a bit down, is enough to completely lift your spirit. This is why the word of God contains so many scriptures which encourage believers' to cultivate and strive to achieve a mindset of joyfulness.
YOU CAN BE JOYFUL
"Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, rejoice." Phillipians 4:4
This is not simply a good idea, or a suggestion, but a command, and it is totally achievable, when you make a deliberate choice to put your faith and trust in God. When you, purposely, focus on God and not your problem, you are operating by faith, and faith is what pleases God.
Many people believe that children have no worries, no cares, and few, if any, concerns . However, we know that isn't true. Children worry about lots of things; such as school, peer relationships, peer pressure, grades - even the future! But worry is useless, it won't change the situation. Most important, worry is the absence of faith, and that's something you have a great deal of. So, rejoice king's kid! Stay in faith!
GROWING IN GODLINESS
King's Kid's are always growing in Godliness, because we are always putting into motion, all of the amazing lessons, which we learn from God's word, we learn everyday!
King's Kid's are cool kid's, the fun-nest kids - we know the power of the Spirit, and we walk in it! We're small, but our faith is tall, through Christ we can do it all, we're King's Kid's!
Living your life God's way takes practice, and requires commitment! So, starting today, practice kindness, empathy, and love for others. Extend only to them, the same level of kindness you would want to receive, if you were in their situation.
